CAMPING OPEN FROM 1st MARCH TO 30 SEPTEMBER – 680 meters

Le Montagnou is a small, friendly, English, family run campsite in the beautiful Ustou valley, 10 minutes from the small town of Seix. The campsite is nestled among the lush lower slopes of the Pyrenees. The site is bordered by the river Alet which is ideal for kayaking in the spring and swimming and trout fishing in the summer. The tranquility of Le Montagnou is only broken by the calls of the eagles, which soar high above.

Summer 2011 will be an exciting year for Camping le Montagnou with "Le Tour" passing right outside the campsite on 16 July. The campsite is ideally situated between Col de la Core and Col d'Agnes if you fancy watching one of the mountain climbs.

This year, all being well, will also see the opening of a summer luge along with new VTT trails at Guzet Neige ski station (10 mins from the campsite).
The area offers a huge range of excellent activities; walking, mountain biking, geocaching, nature trails, fishing, horse riding, culture, caves, underground rivers, thermal springs and spa during the summer.

Whilst in the winter the family friendly ski resort of Guzet Neige is 15 minutes away. The resort offers 40km of pistes for all ages and levels, including 2km of cross country ski trails. There is also a snowshoe circuit for those wanting to try something a little different.
